Overview
The on-demand version of the Stanford Think Tank on Diversity & Health Equity in Clinical Trials is designed to document and extend the conversations initiated during our live event. This educational product serves as a continuation of our mission to address the underrepresentation of diverse participant populations in clinical trials and promote health equity. By curating content from the Morning Plenary, Panels, and Work Groups Report Out, we offer viewers an opportunity to engage with insightful discussions, innovative recommendations, and practical solutions. Our goal is to provide accessible knowledge that contributes to improving healthcare outcomes for all. Our target audience for this on-demand resource is diverse and inclusive, encompassing healthcare professionals, researchers, industry experts, community leaders, policymakers, and anyone interested in advancing diversity in clinical trials and fostering health equity. We believe that a broad audience is crucial in driving positive change in this critical area of healthcare. The on-demand content is presented in a format that includes the Morning Plenary, which comprises keynote sessions and presentations from esteemed thought leaders. Additionally, the panels feature expert discussions on the challenges and opportunities in promoting diversity and health equity within clinical trials. Lastly, the Work Groups Report Outs provide valuable insights and recommendations gleaned from specific workgroup sessions. Optional reflection questions are included.
