Overview
Cue-Centered Therapy (CCT) was developed as a multi-modal, evidence-based intervention that specifically focuses on chronic traumatic experiences in youth. CCT is a more insight-oriented approach than traditional cognitive-behavioral interventions, providing youth with knowledge about how trauma cues develop through classical conditioning and the link between these cues and their trauma responses. This live training is the second step in the Cue-Centered Therapy (CCT) certification process following completion of the online course. Case examples, role-plays, small group discussions, and hands-on practice will be used to demonstrate session goals of CCT closely following the treatment manual. Participants will have a chance to plan and prepare for applying CCT to their own individual cases. In addition, trouble shooting of treatment challenges will be discussed.

Registration

For more information and to register, visit: https://med.stanford.edu/elspap/Cue-Centered-Therapy/enroll.html

The training is in two four-hour sessions, December 7 and 8 from 9am - 1 pm (Pacific Standard Time).
