Cardiothoracic Surgery Monthly APP Case Conference (CMACC) - 8/26/2024

This is a HIPAA restricted, Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery activity only.

This is monthly, APP-run case-based series, where participants across the cardiothoracic surgery line (CVICU, AAU, Transplant/MCS, OR and clinic) review and discuss patient cases that are unusual, novel, or complicated, have a high educational value, or require a multidisciplinary approach to the decision making of patient care. It's purpose is to enhance patient care by critically reviewing and analyzing cases, improving patient care, and utilizing current guidelines for treating complex heart disease. 

Objective(s): 1 Evaluate cardiothoracic surgery cases which generate learning points throughout the APP CTS service line in order to improve patient care and minimize complications.
