Rheumatology Grand Rounds Case Conference

This is a series of case-based presentations involving rheumatological disorders, with a focus on evidence-based guidelines, novel diagnoses, diagnostic tests, and treatment recommendations to improve medical knowledge and strategies for application in clinical practice.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (1.00 hours)

1. Accurately order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing for autoimmune rheumatic diseases.
2. Appropriately prescribe immunomodulatory medications in order to improve patient outcomes and minimize adverse events from immunosuppressives.
3. Review and analyze published literature, recognize limitations and apply best evidence to effectively employ biological principles, logic and common sense to assist in therapeutic decisions.
