Primary care providers play a central role in supporting and enhancing women’s health as many issues are initially addressed in the primary care setting. In partnership with our gynecologists, this virtual conference will cover women’s health topics commonly seen in primary care. Each lecture will be given in an educational dialogue format between a primary care physician and a gynecologist. The goal of this conference is to increase the knowledge base and competency of the primary care provider when diagnosing and managing conditions related to women’s health.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe some of the common clinical problems related to women's health seen in the primary care setting
  2. Develop their skills in the diagnosis and management of common conditions related to women's health

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

American Medical Association (AMA) 
Stanford Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 5.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 4.50 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Learner completes answers to a quiz, percent of correct answers required will be set by provider.
