Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Analyze the burden of reflux in the United States today
  2. Determine the risks versus benefits for long-term PPI use
  3. List the endoscopic options to treat reflux & when they are appropriate
  4. Evaluate the role of surgery for treatment of reflux
  5. Describe the link between obesity/reflux and how that affects treatment decisions
