Over 20% of new HIV infections occur in adolescents and young adults under the age of 25. HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) has been shown to be highly effective for preventing HIV, reducing the risk of sexual transmission by about 99% when taken daily. In this recorded webinar, Stanford experts will teach pediatric and adolescent providers about PrEP and how to prescribe it as well as share tools that can support providers to recommend PrEP in their practices.
