Medicine Grand Rounds

This series presents the latest practice guidelines and late-breaking research in the subspecialties of medicine. Lectures focus on the prevention of disease, management and treatment of patients, on molecular components with a basic understanding of disease process, in addition to updates on novel therapies.

1. Identify and utilize best evidence and updated practice guidelines for the optimal treatment and management of patients.
2. Evaluate new discoveries in science and their applications to patient care.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
