Navigating Screen Time During a Pandemic

Even before the COVID-19 global pandemic, there were concerns about what screen time is doing to the health of our children and youth. Since the pandemic, social distancing has limited our ability to connect and physically interact and schools are providing remote learning, leading to an increase in daily screen time. This 60 minute presentation will include didactic and discussion components addressing what is known about principles of screen time management for youth and what is known about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on screen time use.
