This video reviews how to utilize point-of-care ultrasound when evaluating and treating COVID-19 suspected and diagnosed patients. We review the basics of lung ultrasound and show images of various abnormal findings found in COVID-19 patients. We will discuss current best practices on how to clinically incorporate POCUS in care of these patients including lung, cardiac and IVC ultrasound exams, as well as highlight any limitations.

  4. Examine the role of lung POCUS in caring for COVID patients or patients who have suspected COVID-19
