This webinar will reflect on the anxieties that children and transition aged youth are likely to be experiencing at this time, discuss the importance of talking with young people about those anxieties, and describe some non-clinical strategies which have proven effective in the past for promoting positive mental health and well being among pediatric populations.

Moderated by Dr. Laura Roberts (Chairman and the Katharine Dexter McCormick and Stanley McCormick Memorial Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences), the event will include short presentations by Dr. Victor G. Carrion (the John A. Turner, M.D. Professor and Vice-Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University and Director of the Stanford Early Life Stress and Pediatric Anxiety Program) and Dr. Elizabeth Reichert (Director of the Pediatric Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Clinic and Clinical Assistant Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences) followed by facilitated conversation and a period of Q&A with attendees.
