Pediatric Grand Rounds (RECORDING) How to Survive the AI Uprising: Adapting Amidst Obsolescence

This presentation is a recording of a Stanford Pediatric Grand Rounds Session.  World-renowned experts will present the latest research, practice guidelines, and treatment protocols to advance best practices in the care of pediatric patients. These online recordings will provide pediatricians and family physicians with up-to-date clinical information on a wide range of clinical issues encountered in daily pediatric practice.

This session explores the impact of AI in healthcare, with a particular emphasis on the advent of large language models like ChatGPT. We explore the possible effects of these emerging tools on diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient communication.

1. Increase participants' awareness of the rapid technological advancements in healthcare and their impact on professional practice, patient care, and overall healthcare delivery.

3. Discuss the ethical implications of rapidly advancing technologies in healthcare, enabling healthcare professionals to navigate ethical dilemmas and make informed decisions when incorporating these technologies into patient care.
