Overview

The 2024 Cardiovascular Team Annual Symposium aims to equip cardiovascular team members across healthcare systems with transformative clinical practice guidelines, engage in shared decision-making, and enable the implementation of guideline-oriented provider-patient care delivery models across cardiovascular service lines. Participants at the symposium will be able to connect with a diverse community of cardiovascular professionals to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, exchange ideas, interact with renowned experts, and gather insights into implementing best practices, strategies, and techniques.

This symposium features the translation of evidence into practice through skills stations to interact with devices and products as hands-on experience, observe skills and biological prosections, dialogue with clinical and industry experts, witness interactive simulations and live subject sessions, and participate in crash courses, live demo, case study approach by engaging participants demonstrate practice skill, refresh basic and advanced cardiovascular sciences and related procedural knowledge in the transformation of the participant’s cardiovascular practice irrespective of clinical settings and roles.

American Medical Association (AMA) 
Stanford Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 9.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE)

Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Completion of this RD/DTR profession-specific or IPCE activity awards CPEUs (One IPCE credit = One CPEU).
If the activity is dietetics-related but not targeted to RDs or DTRs, CPEUs may be claimed which are commensurate with participation in contact hours (One 60 minute hour = 1CPEU)

California Board of Registered Nursing
Stanford Medicine is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 17874, for 9.5 contact hours.

Physical and Occupational Therapy
