Overview
This live webinar focuses on disorders of the autonomic nervous system, with an emphasis on postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and common co-morbidities. The goal of this course is to provide clinicians with practical knowledge needed to identify, diagnose and treat common autonomic disorders. In addition to a didactic lecture format, the course will provide case studies and interactive question and answer sessions with audience participation. The course is geared for physicians, but all medical professionals, patients, caregivers and the general public are welcome to register.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify the common types of autonomic disorders including postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
  2. Describe the role of autonomic testing in the diagnostic evaluation of autonomic disorders.
  3. Identify treatable comorbid conditions in patients with autonomic disorders
  4. Develop strategies for the pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of POTS and other autonomic disorders.
