Overview
This course, designed for both primary and specialty care practitioners, will offer physicians and other clinicians the information and skills needed to provide high quality care to men and women with pelvic floor disorders. We will address the assessment and management of common pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, rectal prolapse, LGBTQ+ care and male voiding dysfunction. Through short, high yield didactics and interactive case discussions, participants will learn from pelvic floor specialists how to recognize, evaluate and manage common pelvic floor disorders. Participants will also learn tips and tricks for managing common logistical challenges and how to integrate interdisciplinary team work and collaboration across disciplines. New innovative therapies will also be discussed.
