Join us for a session dedicated to advanced jaw reconstruction for complex head and neck conditions, as well as the latest non-surgical treatments for thyroid nodules. Learners will gain insights into cutting-edge surgical techniques, rehabilitation strategies, and the importance of coordinated care teams in enhancing patient outcomes for jaw reconstruction. The session will also cover minimally invasive options for managing both benign and malignant thyroid nodules, including thermal ablation, thyroid artery embolization, and active surveillance.

1. Review minimal requirements and real-world considerations to develop an in-office radiofrequency ablation program and to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing jaw reconstruction
2. Identify the key surgical techniques used in jaw reconstruction and their appropriate clinical indications
3. Educate patients on risks, benefits and expected outcomes of thermal ablation of benign thyroid nodules
4. Inform patients of their candidacy and expected outcomes for active surveillance or thermal ablation of well differentiated thyroid cancers.
5. Analyze and apply best practices from case studies to enhance preoperative planning and postoperative management for patients requiring jaw reconstruction.
