Overview

Community orthopaedic surgeons take call. They manage open fractures, periprosthetic failures, and on-call dilemmas — often alone, often under pressure. This symposium is built around those cases.

The Stanford Orthopaedic Trauma Symposium brings together high-volume trauma faculty for a focused, case-driven weekend. The format covers what matters in practice: emergency room management, challenging fractures, and the decision-making that defines good trauma care. Didactics, debates, case presentations, and interactive breakout sessions.
