Overview

2023 marks the return of the in-person 28th Annual Pediatric Clinical Update Conference, hosted in the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center at Stanford University. In this two-day conference, renowned faculty will showcase updates and recent advances in mental health, newborn and infant treatment, and obesity. Utilizing keynote sessions and case studies, it aims to provide pediatricians and family physicians with up-to-date clinical information on various clinical issues encountered in daily pediatric practice.

We are accepting proposals for sessions that include audience engagement methods and are relevant to the current landscape of pediatric medicine. View the opportunities and submit your proposal here. We are accepting proposals for the 28th Annual Pediatric Update Conference through Saturday, April 1, 2023.


Registration

Registration fee includes course materials, certificate of participation, breakfast and lunch.

Early Bird Rates:
Physician: $500
RN/AHP: $400
Fellows/Residents: $195

Rates After 5/10/2023:
Physician: $550
RN/AHP: $425
Fellows/Residents: $225

Tuition may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Your email address is used for critical information, including registration confirmation, evaluation, and certificate. Be sure to include an email address that you check frequently.

STAP-eligible employees can use STAP funds towards the registration fees for this activity.  Complete the STAP Reimbursement Request Form and submit to your department administrator.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Evaluate infant patients presenting with common issues: fever, jaundice, constipation, colic, and reflux.
  2. Formulate treatment plans for patients experiencing mental health issues.
  3. Implement comprehensive care for patients presenting with common and emergent ophthalmological conditions.
  4. Counsel patients and their families on the risks and health outcomes of pediatric obesity.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
