David Alan Ansel, MD
Disclosures: Nothing to disclose

Dr. Ansel is Clinical Associate Professor of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine. His career has been devoted to serving children with special health care needs by bridging divides: between primary and tertiary care; between the healthcare, mental/behavioral health, and educational systems; between pediatricians and our community partners in child health. For 25 years he ran a private practice near Boston providing both primary care and developmental-behavioral services. He helped found, and for 6 years served on the board of directors of, one of the largest exclusively pediatric IPA's in the country. He now runs Stanford's Developmental-Behavioral Primary Care Initiative (DBPCI) and blogs for a professional audience at http://dbpci.stanford.edu/.
